Die Temperaturen sinken. Die eisigen Winter an der Grenze können lebensbedrohlich sein, besonders für People on the Move (PoM), die in verlassenen oder abgerissenen Gebäuden und improvisierten Unterkünften – ‚Squats‘ – leben.<\/div>
In the coming weeks Collective Aid<\/a> , No Name Kitchen (NNK),<\/a> Blindspots<\/a>, KlikAktiv<\/a>, Collective Aid<\/a> und frachcollective ihre Kräfte bündeln, um besetzte Häuser für den Winter auszurüsten. Folgt uns, um über diese Aktion und die Situation in der nordserbischen Grenzregion auf dem Laufenden zu bleiben.<\/div>

Aktivist*innen berichten, dass die Zahl der Menschen im Vergleich zum letzten Winter gestiegen ist, da immer mehr Menschen versuchen, über Serbien und Ungarn in die EU zu gelangen. An den Grenzen sind die PoM mit harten Lebensbedingungen, Gewalt und Verletzungen ihres Rechts auf Schutz konfrontiert.<\/p>

„Pushbacks“ – die nach internationalem Recht illegal sind – gehen oft mit brutaler Gewalt, Demütigung und Einschüchterung durch die Polizei gegen PoM einher. Serbien grenzt an die EU-Mitglieder Kroatien, Ungarn und Rumänien – alle drängen PoM zurück und verweigern ihnen ihr Recht, Schutz zu suchen. Pushbacks sind ein struktureller Bestandteil der rassistischen Migrationspolitik der EU.<\/p>

Wir verurteilen jegliche Gewalt gegen PoM! Wir verurteilen die Menschenrechtsverletzungen durch EU-Mitgliedsstaaten und -Agenturen! <\/strong>Wir kämpfen gegen Grenzen und für Freizügigkeit für alle!<\/strong> Wir sind solidarisch mit PoM in ihrem Kampf, die EU zu erreichen!<\/strong><\/p>
